Find The Right TV Mount
The right mount depends on four things: where the TV is going, your TV's screen size, its VESA pattern (the screw-hole spacing on the back, e.g. 400x400mm) and its weight without the stand. You'll find all of these in your TV manual or on the manufacturer's website.
1. Where is the TV going?
- Above a fireplace or high on a wall – choose a pull-down TV mount. It lowers the screen to eye level and lifts it back out of the way. TMO400B suits 32–50", TMO100A suits 55–65" and TMO800A suits 70–100" TVs.
- On a normal wall – choose a fixed, tilt or full-motion TV wall bracket.
- On the ceiling, or you want it to disappear – choose a motorised or ceiling TV mount.
- Several screens for digital signage – choose a pop-out video wall mount.
- Clinics and hospitals – see our medical carts and monitor mounts.
- Tablets, POS and kiosks – see tablet, POS and kiosk stands.
2. Check size, VESA and weight
Every product page lists the supported screen sizes, VESA range and maximum load. Your TV must fall within all three.
3. Check your wall
Solid brick and concrete walls are ideal. For stud walls, fix into the timber studs; for dot-and-dab plasterboard, use suitable fixings such as our Corefix kit.
